Note: User-generated post content, which includes username, post text, post’s hash value, previous post’s hash value, timestamp, but not including media files, will be recorded on a blockchain, making it immutable, publicly accessible, and not subject to deletion.
We may collect information that, while not directly identifying you or your household, is associated with your computer or device (“Device Identifiable Information”). This information is gathered in the ordinary course of providing the Services. For example, when you browse, read, or download content from our Services, we automatically collect data transmitted by your browser or app, including your IP address, browser type and language, access times, pages viewed, and the referring website.
Device Identifiable Information may be used to analyze trends, improve the functionality and administration of the Services, understand user interactions with specific pages of the Services, assess navigation patterns, and compile aggregate demographic information. Additionally, this information may be collected through technologies such as “cookies” or similar technologies, as described below.

Additionally, your contact information may help others find your account if permitted by your settings. We also use your information to deliver targeted ads, measure their effectiveness, and recognize your devices to show ads on and off SaidSo. Data from ad partners or affiliates may be combined with other information we have about you, as described in this Privacy Policy.
We use information to protect users, accounts, and our platform by verifying identities, detecting and preventing fraud or unauthorized activity, and ensuring compliance with laws and policies. This includes investigating violations and maintaining content quality and security standards.

Once published, posts cannot be modified or deleted, as the blockchain is designed to be tamper-proof.
Blockchain records are publicly accessible by third parties and may be analyzed, shared, or indexed by third-party services outside our control.
Content stored on the blockchain cannot be erased, even if you delete your account or request data removal.

When you choose to post and share content publicly, you authorize us to make that information widely available. Your user-generated content, including profile information (such as your name or pseudonym, username, and profile pictures), may be visible to the general public. This includes individuals who are not signed into SaidSo. Additionally, your content may appear beyond SaidSo, such as when it is reshared on other social media platforms or indexed in search engine results.
Please note that your user-generated content, excluding media files, may also be accessible to anyone via the blockchain.
We may share your information with third-party service providers that perform functions and provide services (e.g. Translation services) on our behalf for SaidSo functionality, analytics, and marketing.
We may retain, use, share, or disclose your information if we reasonably believe it is necessary to:

You can access and manage your account information via the Profile and Settings of SaidSo application. Note: Content on the blockchain cannot be modified or deleted.
We employ industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encryption, access controls, and secure servers. However, blockchain storage has inherent risks, including public accessibility and the impossibility of deletion.
We take measures to prevent the leakage, loss, or damage of personal information and ensure its security. Additionally, we provide training to our employees to reinforce the protection of personal information. The key elements of our security measures include establishing fundamental policies, implementing organizational safety management measures, human safety management measures, physical safety management measures, and technical safety management measures, as well as understanding external environments.

The most current version of this Privacy Policy governs our processing of your personal data. We may update this Privacy Policy periodically as needed to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. Changes will be effective upon posting to SaidSo with a revised “Last Updated” date.
The SaidSo Privacy Policy is governed by and shall be construed in accordance with the laws of Japan. While the Privacy Policy is originally drafted in Japanese, an English translation is provided for convenience. SaidSo endeavors to ensure the accuracy of the translation; however, in the event of any discrepancies or inconsistencies between the Japanese and English versions, the Japanese version shall prevail. You acknowledge and agree that the Japanese text shall serve as the authoritative reference for interpreting and construing the terms of the SaidSo Privacy Policy.
